Samsung’s upcoming foldable phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, appeared in the FCC database. Many features of the device were already known, but with the latest update, its network and charging abilities have come out too. Here are the details…

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 appears in the FCC

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 surfaced in the FCC with the SM-F721U model number. According to the database, the foldable phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/n/ac/ax, 5G (sub-6GHz and mmWave), and wireless charging. Galaxy Z Flip4 is expected to come 6.78-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, there could be a 2.1-inch AMOLED display.

The foldable phone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The chipset offers a 10 percent increase in GPU clock speeds and 30 percent GPU power reduction while providing 10 percent better CPU performance and 30 percent improved power efficiency.

A 3,700mAh battery with 25W support will power the smartphone. And it will run Android 12-based One UI 4.1 if One UI 5.0 is not revealed. Additionally, it’ll bring features including the stereo speaker, HDR10+, NFC, Samsung Pay, Wireless DeX and IPX8 certification.

The device will be launched on August 10, beside the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Watch5. Also, the price of the foldable is not known yet, but according to the rumours, it could be between $999 – $1.999.
