Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition’s Chinese Version Leaked Live!
Following the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 in August, Samsung has begun developing a new special foldable phone. Previous leaks confirmed that the company named its foldable smartphone the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. This special version of the phone draws attention for its remarkable thinness. A user named @Jukanlosreve shared images of the special series smartphone, which is expected to be unveiled tomorrow, October 21. While not much information can be gathered from the images, the prominent logo on the back indicates that this is the Chinese model of the phone.
According to rumors, the phone is expected to be launched in the Chinese market under the name Samsung Galaxy W25. Outside of China, the foldable smartphone is expected to be referred to as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. Based on the live leak images, the phone appears to be quite thin compared to the company’s other smartphones, although the exact thickness has not yet been confirmed. In addition to its thickness, the screen sizes of the phone are also increasing. Previous leaks suggested that the smartphone’s internal and external screens would be larger than those of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. While the internal screen of the Fold 6 measures 7.6 inches, the internal screen of the Fold Special Edition is expected to be 8.0 inches. The external screen is expected to increase from 6.3 inches on the Fold 6 to 6.5 inches on the Fold Special Edition.
According to reliable leaker @UniverseIce, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is expected to feature a 200 MP main rear camera. Analysts believe that this upcoming special series phone could even surpass the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The foldable smartphone is expected to be introduced at the Samsung event scheduled for tomorrow, October 21.
