Samsung has cut off update support for these models

Ana sayfa / Smartphones

As part of its regular software support policy, Samsung is removing some older devices from its update cycle. The company has officially announced that it has ended software support for the Galaxy A22, Galaxy F22, Galaxy M32, and Galaxy M42 5G. This decision means these devices will no longer receive new security patches or Android version updates.

These four models, which were released in 2021, have been removed from Samsung’s August 2025 update plan, marking the completion of their software lifecycle. It’s worth noting that even before their support ended, these devices were receiving regular security updates twice a year.

This decision is a standard procedure for Samsung, typically applied to devices that have reached a certain age and completed their support cycle. However, the brand continues to provide regular update support for many of its other models.

Models That Still Receive Updates

Below is the list of models that Samsung still provides software support for.

Models Receiving Monthly Security Updates

Models Receiving Quarterly Security Updates

Models Receiving Bi-annual Security Updates
