Samsung is expanding its mobile power with Nokia!

Ana sayfa / Technology

Nokia, which took the world by storm during the cell phone era, could not make the transition to smartphones and almost hit the bottom. Turning to different areas in the mobile world, the company has a serious investment in mobile networks. According to the latest information, Samsung is eyeing this investment.

Nokia is considering several strategic options to restructure its mobile network business, according to a new report from Bloomberg. The biggest solution the Finnish company is considering is to sell the division. Although no final decision has been made yet, many companies in the market seem willing to buy the Finnish tech giant’s mobile networking assets.

Among these potential buyers is Samsung, which aims to gain a strong position in telecom infrastructure. A Nokia official told Bloomberg that the future of the mobile network business is unclear. However, it seems that a deal with Samsung is quite close.

Many overseas mainstream media websites say no to Applebot and Siri

Apple’s intelligence-gathering robot Applebot is blocked from collecting content by major publishers, and Siri and Spotlight can’t access the information.

Nokia’s mobile network assets are estimated to be worth around 10 billion dollars. Quite a reasonable amount for a giant like Samsung. However, a representative of Samsung declined to comment on the matter, suggesting that Nokia may not have made a decision yet.

Although Nokia has achieved some success by deploying 5G infrastructure for multiple operators, demand from network operators has decreased recently. Therefore, the Finnish company is not only looking for solutions to make its mobile network business profitable again, but is also considering new business opportunities that do not rely on building networks for operators.
