Samsung is one of the leading manufacturers in the increasingly popular foldable smartphone market. The company, which has gained praise with its previous models, is now making the final touches on the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.
Galaxy Z Fold SE Almost Eliminates the Crease Issue
According to the details that have emerged, Samsung’s highly anticipated new foldable smartphone is set to be quite impressive. As reported by the well-known smartphone news source Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Fold SE has successfully tackled the chronic issue.
One of the biggest problems in the early stages of the foldable smartphone world is the crease left by the folding hinge on the screen. In fact, rumors suggest that Apple has not yet entered this space because it hasn’t been able to solve this issue.
However, it seems that Samsung is performing exceptionally well in this area. The company has largely resolved the crease problem in the screen with the Galaxy Z Fold SE. Sources say that even after extended folding use, the screen remains nearly flawless.
Galaxy Z Fold SE: What to Expect
According to previously leaked information, the Galaxy Z Fold SE will feature an 8-inch foldable screen and a 6.5-inch standard smartphone display. The device is expected to have a very slim design, with an open thickness of 4.9 mm and a closed thickness of 10.6 mm.
Many sources also indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold SE will support the S-Pen. However, this is not its most striking feature. The model is expected to come equipped with a 200 MP camera sensor, and it will likely feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
