Samsung is continuing its preparations for the Android 16-based One UI 8 update. While the South Korean brand included this new version on its foldable phones introduced at the beginning of the month, general rollout for other devices has not yet begun. The company has recently begun testing One UI 8 on a budget model.
One UI 8 testing has begun for the Galaxy F15
Samsung has officially begun internal One UI 8 testing for the Galaxy F15. The new version is currently being tested on the Indian variant of the company’s budget phone. The build number used is E156BXXU6CYG5.
It is currently unclear when Samsung will release the One UI 8 update widely. However, the fact that the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE models, introduced on July 9th, came with this version straight out of the box is considered a strong indication that the update will be rolled out to other models soon.
