Samsung is testing One UI 8 on its popular phone!

Ana sayfa / Smartphones

Samsung, One UI 7 update faced significant delays and has yet to roll out, but the company does not want to repeat the same issue with Android 16-based One UI 8. To prevent this, the South Korean brand has already started testing One UI 8 on a popular model. Here are the details!

Introduced in January, the Galaxy S25 (model number SM-S931B) has appeared in Geekbench tests. The smartphone scored 3,057 points in single-core and 9,953 points in multi-core tests. The most notable detail here is that the tested device was running Android 16-based One UI 8.

But that’s not all. Earlier this month, the brand was spotted testing the new update on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. To make a comparison, last year, the Android 15 test software and Geekbench performance tests for the Galaxy S24 emerged after May. This suggests that Samsung is trying to avoid the delays experienced during the One UI 7 development process with One UI 8.

Note: The list below is unofficial. It has been prepared based on reliable sources and Samsung’s update policy. Additionally, upcoming models are not included, as the list only covers the current product lineup.
