While Samsung continues to roll out the One UI 7 update without slowing down, the company is already tightening up its preparations for the upcoming One UI 8. Recent reports reveal that the South Korean brand is testing the new version on one of its most popular models.
Samsung is testing the One UI 8 update on the Galaxy S25 Ultra
The beta version of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 Ultra has been spotted on Samsung’s test servers with the build number S938BXXU3ZYEA. This development suggests that the company has begun internal testing for the smartphone and is making final adjustments ahead of the public beta phase, which is expected to start in June.
Samsung plans to follow a different strategy this year. Instead of releasing the update first to the flagship Galaxy S series, the brand aims to roll it out initially to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 models. If everything goes according to plan, the stable version will start rolling out after the foldable devices are introduced in July.
