Samsung Galaxy S26 series IMEI database appears: No Plus model
Just days after unveiling its foldable phones, new leaks about the Galaxy S26 series have surfaced. Looking at the model numbers detected in the GSMA IMEI database, a significant change will take place in the series.
Only model numbers SM-S942, SM-S947, and SM-S948 appear in the IMEI database. These are most likely the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. So unless there is a last-minute change, the Plus model will not be part of the new series.
Previously, the Edge model launched after the standard, Plus, and Ultra versions. But this time, all three models are expected to be introduced together in January 2026. This suggests Samsung plans to showcase the Galaxy S26 series in a single event.
