At its Unpacked event in early January 2024, Samsung introduced its flagship phone series Galaxy S24. While introducing the Galaxy S24, Samsung also presented its new artificial intelligence Galaxy AI to its users. Circle to Search is coming to Samsung’s mid-range phones.
Circle to Search coming to Samsung Galaxy A series
When Samsung introduced the artificial intelligence features it added to its phones at the Unpacked event in January, it was the Google Lens-based Circle to Search feature that attracted the most attention of users. You take a photo of the object or person you are looking for and circle it. Artificial intelligence searches the image on Google and gives you information about the subject you are looking for. Recently, Google has developed this feature more with the introduction of the Pixel 9 series and released the update for all compatible Android users. Although Samsung has brought Circle to Search to the Galaxy S23 series, this update has not yet come to the Galaxy A series.
Samsung announced today that it is bringing Circle to Search to its mid-range phones. The update is coming to many Galaxy A series phones and all Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablets. The company doesn’t give an exact date for when the update will come to phones, but says Circle to Search will be available later this month. For the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, the update could take even longer than a month. The feature is expected to come to devices with a new Android update. For this reason, the update may vary depending on the region and device.
It is known that Google has been developing Circle to Search for the last few months. With Samsung bringing this feature to mid-range phones, it is moving to the next level in the artificial intelligence war. Leaks say that Google will add music recognition, QR code and Barcode recognition to Circle to Search. We have listed the phones where the feature will come for you below.
