Ana sayfa / News

Samsung is demonstrating its commitment to providing its users with the most up-to-date software experience in Turkey. The company has accelerated the rollout schedule for its highly anticipated Android 16-based next-generation interface, One UI 8, and has clarified its roadmap for a wide range of products, from flagships to mid-range devices, from tablets to smartwatches. The update rollout began with the Galaxy S25 series, and recently, the foldable phones Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 have also received the latest version.

Samsung’s update rollout in Turkey began with its latest flagship series, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 Edge. Following this initial wave, the price-performance-focused Galaxy S24 FE and the popular mid-range representative Galaxy A56 5G also received Android 16. According to information on Samsung Turkey’s official “Are We Up to Date?” portal, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, the most powerful foldable models, joined the bandwagon as of September 29th.

The final days of September will be busy. Before the month is out, the previous-generation flagships—the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra—and the beloved mid-range Galaxy A36 5G are also scheduled to receive the One UI 8 update. With this move, Samsung will update its top-tier models of the last two years.

The real wave of updates will arrive in October. Samsung aims to bring Android 16 and One UI 8 to dozens of different devices this month. The list includes both former flagships and best-selling mid-range phones and tablets. The following models stand out among the devices slated to receive the update in October:

Samsung will complete its update schedule with more niche products in November. The Galaxy XCover7 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro 5G, designed for demanding conditions, as well as the entry-level Galaxy Tab A9 tablet, will also be upgraded to One UI 8 this month.

This update wave isn’t limited to phones and tablets; it’s also expanding into Samsung’s wearable technology ecosystem. The watch-optimized version of One UI 8 will be rolled out to the Galaxy Watch 4 series, Galaxy Watch 5 series, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch 6 series, and the newest model, the Galaxy Watch 7 series. These updates are expected to provide users with a smoother interface, advanced AI features, increased security, and improved battery performance. Users can check if their devices have received the updates by going to Settings > Software Update.
