Samsung is introducing a brand new repair program. Samsung users will now have a more convenient experience thanks to the new application launched in South Korea. The brand has introduced its users to the “Samsung User Repair Program.” This means that users can now repair their devices themselves without voiding the warranty. So, how will this work? Here are the details…
Repair your phone by yourself without voiding the warranty!
Samsung provides great convenience to its users with its new application launched in South Korea. The brand’s customers can now order parts and equipment when their devices break. In other words, you can repair your own phone using original spare parts and high-quality equipment.
The system works quite simply. You have a Samsung device and it gets damaged. You specify the model and the issues of your device on the websites. The brand sends you the equipment and spare parts that will help you solve the problem. This way, you can perform your own repair process without voiding the warranty.
This will also prevent problems such as poor workmanship, use of counterfeit spare parts, or theft of parts from the device. Because your device will remain under your control. Additionally, after completing the repair process, you can safely send the old parts to Samsung for recycling, ensuring they don’t harm the environment.
For now, Samsung’s self-repair program covers the replacement of parts such as the screen, back cover, and charging socket. The brand will continue to have dangerous and highly specialized tasks, such as “battery replacement,” performed by Samsung technicians in their service centers.
However, the brand plans to pass on the remaining problems to the customers. It also allows users who purchase and use the kits for repairs to compare their results with other users who have performed the same repair. This way, both spare part and labor costs can be reduced, aiming to decrease the costs in the Samsung Service department.
The program currently covers Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, and Galaxy S22 models. In addition to these, three TV models belonging to the Galaxy Book Pro 15.6-inch notebook and UN32N4000 series are also included in the program. Samsung plans to increase the number of products in the coming periods. What do you think about this? Don’t forget to share your opinions in the comments section…
