Samsung releases security updates monthly to Galaxy devices as one of the biggest phone manufacturers. Last week, the company started rolling out the November 2022 security update to select Galaxy phones and tablets. While the update is now available on a few high-end devices like Galaxy Z Flip3, Z Flip4, Z Fold3, and Z Fold4, the tech giant is expanding the list of updated devices. Google and its partners release a new Android security patch for Android devices every month. These updates include some fixes and improvements in terms of security. According to Samsung’s release notes, the November 2022 security patch fixes three critical, 32 high-priority security vulnerabilities, Qualcomm-specific fixes, and two Android bulletins.

Samsung also releases the Android security patch with some improvements of its own for the issues specific to its devices, besides the fixes that are released by Google.
