Samsung releases One UI 6.1 Update to Two Devices in Galaxy A Series!

In January, the One UI 6.1 update, introduced alongside the Galaxy S24 series, has now been made available for more devices. Samsung, consistently rolling out the update to different phones and tablets, is now aiming to please mid-range smartphone users. Last week, Samsung released and then retracted the update for the Galaxy S22 and S21 series due to issues, but after fixing the bugs, the company has started rolling out the new update for mid-range phones as well. Starting with the A series, the company has initially released the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 models.


The One UI 6.1 update is first being rolled out to South Korea and Europe for the Galaxy A54 and A34. The update, expected to arrive in other markets shortly, has been released with some limitations for these devices. As you may know, the One UI 6.1 update is highlighted by Galaxy AI features, but these features are not applicable to the A series.

Samsung continues to roll out One UI 6.1 update at a rapid pace. Here are the Galaxy devices that have received the One UI 6.1 update so far.

The update, introduced with a focus on artificial intelligence, unfortunately makes these features available only on the S series and foldable flagship models. One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy A54 comes with software version A546BXXU7CXDC and a file size of 2.2GB, while for the Galaxy A34, it is A346NKSU5CXD5.

Enhanced AI-supported photo editing tools and recommendations are provided exclusively for the Galaxy A series. If you want to check if your device has received the update, you can go to the Settings app, click on the Software update button, and use the Download and install section to access the update.
