Samsung has begun rolling out the stable One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update for the Galaxy S25 series today. However, this initial rollout is currently limited to South Korea. Users in other countries and regions are expected to receive the update today or in the coming days. Here are the details.
Dates announced for the One UI 8 update
The release date for other Galaxy devices has been shared on Samsung’s official community forum in South Korea, and this timeline may disappoint some users. According to the announcement, most compatible Galaxy devices will receive the update in October. The remaining devices will receive the new software by November at the latest.
