Samsung still keeps updating the previous model phones. The company will launch a new major update about the camera for the Galaxy S22 series. The next update will include many new features from hyperlapse functionality to videos alongside a lot of camera enhancements. While the Galaxy S22, S22+, and the S22 Ultra are among the best camera phones, they will be better with the upcoming update. Here are the details about the next Galaxy S22 series update.
Galaxy S22 series is getting the biggest camera update
The Korean Android phone manufacturer is preparing a major update for the Galaxy S22 series‘ camera. The update mostly focuses on the camera and it could come this month. If we need to give some specs about the update, the highlights include the 3x telephoto camera now supporting the hyper-lapse mode and improved QR code scanning speeds.
With the next update, the Galaxy S22 series will get an optimized memory and AI engine in photo/night/video modes, improved HDR and colors for photos, improved color and brightness for the night mode, and improved video quality and stabilization. Additionally, Samsung will fix a bug in the QR scanning which doesn’t allow users to scan the code once the first one is dismissed.
The Astro hyperlapse feature will let users take a timelapse video of the starry night sky. That means the upcoming update will have many features but focused on the camera. The company claimed that the next update will also improve video stabilization and image quality in videos.
The Korean tech giant is working on the updates for Galaxy S22 series. Samsung will launch the camera update to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra soon. This update comes a few months after a June update that launched for the phones, improving sharpness and contrast, tweaking the auto white balance feature, better portrait mode results, and more.
