Samsung is going to launch a new flagship phone series in the next few months. While the rumors about the Galaxy S23 have started to release, there are also some trustful claims about the device. According to Samsung’s announcement, the company will use an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset on the new flagship, Galaxy S23 line. Here are the details.

Galaxy S23 will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with 3.32GHz

The phone manufacturer announced that the next flagship phone series will use a powered Snapdragon chipset. While the chipset’s ultra-high-performance Cortex X-3 Prime core runs at 3.2GHz, the brand will use a Cortex X-3 core that runs 3.32GHz on all Galaxy S23 models.

According to the chipset company, the Cortex X-3 core offers up to 25% better performance than its predecessor. In fact, Samsung has used its own Exynos chips in the Galaxy S line in all countries except the U.S., Canada, and China. However, the brand seems to prefer to use the new Snapdragon chipset on its devices.

Additionally, TSMC will produce the standard version of the chipset while Samsung to build a more powerful version for its devices. It means that the new chipset will have two different versions. Samsung will produce version AB which uses a 4nm LPE process meanwhile TSMC produces the AC variant which uses the N4P process node.

Samsung will launch three different versions of the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The company is expected to launch this line in January or February at the next Samsung Unpacked event.

One of the top expected features of Galaxy S23 Ultra is to come with a 200-Megapixel camera that uses a new 200-Megapixel image processor developed by Samsung. According to the expectations, Samsung will launch the device with this great camera feature.
