Samsung continues to roll out the stable version of One UI 8, based on Android 16. Following the Galaxy XCover7 receiving the update last week, the list has expanded this week with eight new smartphones. The update includes the Galaxy XCover7 Pro, known for its robust build, and the popular Galaxy A and M series devices.
New Models Receiving the One UI 8 Update
The eight models that have started receiving the new stable version of One UI 8 are:
- Galaxy XCover7 Pro
- Galaxy A33
- Galaxy A53
- Galaxy M34
- Galaxy M35
- Galaxy Wide 7 (known globally as Galaxy M15)
- Galaxy Quantum 3 (known globally as Galaxy M53)
The update rollout is currently progressing gradually across different regions:
- South Korea:
- Galaxy XCover7 Pro: The update has started receiving version number BYI6. It is expected to reach global markets soon. Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53: Update rollout has begun with software versions GYI3 and GYI2, respectively.
- Galaxy Wide 7 (M15) and Galaxy Quantum 3 (M53): Reaching users in South Korea with version numbers CYI6 and GYI4, respectively.
- India:
- Galaxy M34 and Galaxy M35: Devices are receiving the One UI 8 update in India with version numbers M346BXXU8EYI8 and M356BXXU5CY18, respectively.
If you have one of these smartphones and haven’t yet received the stable One UI 8 update, you can manually check for the update. To do this, go to your phone’s Settings menu, select Software Update, and check for it.
The new features, improved performance, and security optimizations included with One UI 8 are expected to significantly improve the user experience.
