Samsung September 2024 Update Available for Galaxy S23, S21, and More
Google’s updates are consistently released to Samsung Galaxy devices each month. According to the announcement, the September 2024 update addresses 67 security vulnerabilities. Of these, 44 were added by Google for all Android devices, while 23 were added specifically for Samsung devices. Among these vulnerabilities, one is critical, and 32 are marked as high priority, affecting applications within the One UI system, including Dex, Knox, Theme Center, and others.
The update for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with the software version S91xNKSU4CXH7 and is included in One UI 6.1.1. The same September 2024 security package for Galaxy S23 FE is released within One UI 6.1.1 and comes with software version S711NKSU3BXH7, with a file size of 2.34GB.
For Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, the security update is announced with the software version G99xBXXSCGXH7. Unlike previous models, this update does not include One UI 6.1.1. Additionally, the update for Galaxy S21 FE is released with the software version G990USQSCGXH1, while One UI 7.0 is being developed for the device.
Finally, the update for Galaxy S20 FE is announced with the software version G780GXXSCEXI1 for models numbered SM-G780G.
