Samsung reveals One UI 5.0 update schedule

Ana sayfa / News

In the past few weeks, Samsung has been adding devices to its One UI 5.0 beta, which is basically the latest version of One UI that will be based on Google’s Android 13 update. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 series are the only phones from Samsung to have received the full update, while the rest are in beta. So if you’re wondering where are you in the line to get the update, here’s Samsung’s schedule.

One UI 5.0 update schedule list

According to Samsung, it looks like the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, Fold 4 and Flip 4 will get the update in November, as well as the S20 and S21 series, the Note 20 series and some of Samsung’s tablets. In December, the update will come for the Z Fold 2, OG Flip and Flip 5G, S20 FE, more Samsung tablets and some of the company’s A-series phones.

The update rollout is also expected to continue in January and February 2023 and will cover more Samsung tablets, and more Galaxy A handsets. On that account, if you own any of these devices, this is when you should be able to expect the One UI 5.0 update. Keep in mind that there could be some delays and if you’re in the US, will also be pending carrier approval. But at least we now have a rough schedule to look forward to.

Samsung One UI 5.0 features

Samsung One UI 5, based on Android 13, brings new features, like deeper Material You integration, improved Dynamic theming, and a new Dynamic lock screen. In addition, improved widget stacking and multi-user support for the first time ever on Samsung. Also, new clever multitasking gestures – double swipe from the bottom for a quick split-screen and swipe from the top right corner for pop-up view, text recognition in the Gallery, a Privacy Hub, and more.
