Samsung will soon reveal its new operating system One UI 7 based on Android 15. The company, which seems to be working on the interface design for now, is apparently updating the notification and quick settings panel. Samsung is separating the combined panel based on user comments.
Samsung will bring two separate panels for notifications and settings in One UI 7!
As you know, Apple has kept the notification and quick settings panels separate for many years. In fact, the settings panel used to rise from the bottom for a long time. Apple, which has brought both of them together at the top in recent years, still offers two separate panels for both notification and settings. Of course, Xiaomi works the same way on the Android side.
Xiaomi Mobile Vice President Jin Fan recently stated that 90 percent of users like the notification and settings panel in a separate style. It is not known whether this data was obtained only in China or whether it is valid for the whole world, but it is certain that Samsung is also working on this side.
Samsung, which seems to be giving up on the combined design after years, seems to be switching to a completely different structure with the One UI 7 operating system. Although there are no official statements from the company yet, you can expect different panels for notifications and quick settings.
