Samsung’s upcoming affordable tablet has been leaked with color options and a few specifications. The tablet in question has been spotted on official listings and certification sites. We’ve seen early renders of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) before, but the new leak reveals more information about the tablet.
Samsung Tab S6 Lite (2024) will have similar specs to its successor
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was first introduced in 2020 and the next version was released in 2022. With the leak made by 91mobiles, it was learned that the new version of the device is coming after 2 years. The leaked images show that the device will come in a Mint color for the first time.
91mobiles notes that some images have been discovered in official listings that showcase the full look of the device, including specifications and technical details. The new tablet is likely to carry the same design as its predecessor and will be available in the new Mint color as well as pink and black color options.
Aside from the design, the specifications are likely to be similar to its predecessor. The device is predicted to feature a 10.4-inch display and large bezels, while the camera setup is again thought to include a single 8 MP rear sensor and a 5 MP selfie camera on the front. The rear camera will likely support 1080p video recording.
Battery capacity, one of the highlights of its predecessor, will also be big on the Samsung Tab S6 Lite (2024). A massive 14-hour video playback time is expected. The new budget-friendly tablet will also support the S-Pen, attaching to the right edge of the device and matching the color of the tablet.
Probably the most exciting change will be the chipset powering the tablet. The device is speculated to come with the Exynos 1280 processor used in some Galaxy phones. For storage, at least 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage is expected, there will also be microSD support.
Other features will include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm headphone jack and AKG-powered speakers. The device recently received BIS certification and is expected to come in Wi-Fi and LTE variants. It has also appeared in the US FCC and Denmark’s UL databases, suggesting a global rollout soon, starting in India.
