Ana sayfa / Smartphones

Samsung is already working on the Galaxy S25 series. The flagship family, expected to launch in January, could represent a first for the company. Samsung is rumored to use MediaTek Dimensity for the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra.

According to allegations in Korea, Samsung wants to fight the rising prices of the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. In this context, it is reported that it will make an agreement with MediaTek and sell the Galaxy S25 series with Dimensity in some regions.

Samsung has been using Qualcomm Snapdragon or its own Exynos chipsets in the Galaxy S series until today. For example, the Galaxy S24 series was launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in most markets and Exynos 2400 in some regions.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked launch date confirmed!

Samsung has announced the launch date for Samsung Galaxy Unpacked, where it will unveil Galaxy Z Fold6, Flip6, and many other models...

With the new rumor, it turns out that Samsung wants to expand its chipset partners beyond Qualcomm and Samsung LSI (Exynos). In this context, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, Exynos 2500 and Dimensity 9400 can be used depending on the region.

This ratio must be 60 percent by the third quarter of 2024 for the chips to go into mass production. It is not yet known whether MediaTek will use the chip in all S25 models or only in the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus. Of the current models, only the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a Qualcomm chip.

What do you think, is Samsung’s strategy right? Do you think the return of Exynos chips will be successful? Don’t forget to share your opinions in the comments section below…
