Samsung, a prominent player in the smartphone market, continues to expand its product lineup. The South Korean brand is expected to unveil the Galaxy A56 model soon. Previously, the camera features of the model were leaked, and now other technical specifications have also been shared.
What Will the Galaxy A56 Offer Users?
The Samsung Galaxy A56 is expected to feature a camera setup similar to its predecessors, with a triple-camera configuration that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, users will be greeted by a new 12-megapixel selfie sensor.
The smartphone will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1580 processor. This recently introduced chipset features one high-performance Cortex-A720 core running at 2.9 GHz, three additional Cortex-A720 cores at 2.6 GHz, and four Cortex-A520 cores at 1.95 GHz for efficiency.
The Galaxy A56 recently appeared in Geekbench tests, scoring 1,341 in single-core and 3,836 in multi-core, suggesting performance similar to the 2021 flagship Snapdragon 888.
Another standout feature of the model is its extended software support. Continuing the tradition started with the Galaxy A16 5G, Samsung is set to provide six years of software support for the Galaxy A56. The device is expected to be priced between 450 and 500 euros, though its release date remains undisclosed.
