Frustrating Design Issue with the Galaxy Watch 8

Numerous other Watch 8 owners have commented, sharing similar concerns. Some users are worried about slower charging speeds and even increased heat due to the watch not making full contact with the charging pad. One user also mentioned that the PowerShare feature on Galaxy phones doesn’t work correctly with this watch.
The root of the problem lies in the Galaxy Watch 8’s standard strap design. The rubber strap curves sharply downwards, preventing the watch from lying flat on the charging pad. This issue makes charging difficult not only with Samsung’s official charging accessory but also with any other charging pads where the watch is expected to sit flat.
