Good news for Android users! Sharing files on Android will be much easier!
The heart of technology beats at the CES 2024 event in Las Vegas. Many technological innovations continue to be introduced at the event. At this event, Google also announced that it would cooperate with Samsung to make Android users happy. Now sharing files on Android platforms will become even easier.
Google designed this new feature to create a unified cross-Android solution that enables seamless sharing of files within the Android and Chromebook ecosystems. Google wasn’t satisfied with that either. Additionally, Google announced that it plans to further expand its reach by pre-installing the Nearby Share feature on Windows PCs.
So how can we use it? Tap the Quick Share icon and you’ll see a list of nearby devices. You can then choose which files to share with whom without compromising your privacy. Google gives you full control over your phone’s settings. So you can decide whether to share files with everyone, just your contacts, or just your own devices.
Google will launch the current version of the Share with Nearby feature starting in February. Google first introduced this application in 2020. Thanks to this application, users will be able to share images, files and texts in a simple and convenient way. A similar feature was also available on Samsung called Quick Share. Thanks to the cooperation of Google and Samsung, file sharing on Android will become a little simpler in the future.
