Porsche, which has won our hearts with all its models, announced its six-month sales figures. Comparing these figures with the same period last year, the company experiences a decrease in almost all its models. Here are Porsche’s sales figures for 2024.
Porsche Taycan sold 51 percent less than last year!
It looks like the first six months of 2024 have not been good for Porsche. Looking at the first half sales figures, the company recorded a decline in most models and recorded a 51 percent decline in the sales of its popular car, Taycan. Porsche, which sold 17 thousand 991 Taycan units in the first half of 2023, could only sell 8 thousand 838 units in the first half of 2024.
The other model that follows this decline most closely is Panamera. Panamera, which was sold 17 thousand 565 units in the same period last year, was sold to 13 thousand 255 units with a 25 percent decrease in the first six months of this year. While Macan decreased its sales figure by 18 percent to 39 thousand 167, Cayenne, 911 and 718 models saw an increase of 16 percent, 8 percent and 8 percent, respectively. However, these increases could not increase total sales figures above last year.
Porsche, which sold a total of 167 thousand 354 vehicles worldwide in the first half of 2023, managed to sell 155 thousand 945 vehicles this year, with a decrease of 7 percent. While North America and China constituted the majority of these last year, Europe took China’s place this year.
For now, this is the situation on the Porsche side in the first half of 2024. Let’s see if the company can get to where it wants in sales figures for the rest of the year.
