We continue to see innovative and interesting products at IFA 2024 in Berlin: Sharp, known especially in our country for both its durable white goods and old-generation televisions / radios, announced its new Bluetooth-enabled radio. Moreover, its design seems to be as good as the old ones. Here are the details!
Sharp has come up with a design that can be called ‘old-school’
Sharp introduces its smallest and most advanced model, the DR-P520 Osaka, which sets a new standard in the world of portable radios. This radio, which draws attention with its small dimensions and compact design, is designed for outdoor activities.
This tiny radio is quite successful in terms of portability. It is designed for mobile use with its foldable telescopic antenna and key lock. One of the biggest innovations offered by the DR-P520 is the BestTune technology. Thanks to this feature, the device automatically combines FM, DAB and DAB+ radio stations, finds the best signal and thus makes listening pleasure uninterrupted.
Users can save their favourite stations with a single touch, with the capacity to store up to 40 stations for each category. In addition, additional information and visuals about DAB+ stations can be displayed on the 2-inch colour screen with the SlideShow function.
Featuring Bluetooth 5.3 technology, the DR-P520 can also be used as a wireless speaker. This makes it possible to stream music directly from your mobile phone. Other advantages of the device include a dual alarm function and a USB-C charging port.
Of course, the number of people who want to use this type of retro device today will be quite limited. However, the device can be appreciated with the innovations it offers and the old-generation design.
