Bloober Team has announced a new partnership with Konami. This partnership comes after the two companies previously launched Silent Hill 2 Remake.
Bloober Team and Konami partnership will continue with a new game
According to a press release by Konami, the two companies have reached an agreement for “a new game based on Konami’s intellectual property.” Although the details of the project are still unclear, it should not be forgotten that Bloober Team has made successful horror games such as The Medium and Layers of Fear.

There is also a possibility that the new project will be a Silent Hill production. Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno said in a statement, “Our partnership with Konami has been extremely productive and the success of Silent Hill 2 is the biggest proof of this. Thanks to the sharing of knowledge and experience, we have managed to create a high-quality production together. We cannot give too many details at the moment, but we are sure that fans will be as excited as we are about this new partnership.”
The new deal is said to be in line with Bloober Team’s strategy to expand its internal development division. This suggests that the project could be more closely tied to Konami’s publishing and development resources than previous Bloober collaborations.
Konami’s intellectual property portfolio includes beloved series such as Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, eFootball, and Bomberman. However, considering Bloober Team’s experience in the horror genre, the Silent Hill series stands out as the most natural production.
Bloober said that its ability to handle horror series has changed thanks to Silent Hill 2 Remake. Of course, it should not be forgotten that the new project may not be horror-based.
