Konami-developed Silent Hill 2 Remake is being praised by gamers for turning the hype train around, even though the first videos were disappointing. However, Komami has also received some disappointing news.
Silent Hill 2 Remake does not have Denuvo DRM
As you know, gamers have been complaining about big producers putting Denuvo, the anti-piracy software, on their PC games.
As a matter of fact, even though Denuvo makes it very, very difficult to crack games, it is known as a software that slows down games considerably and causes performance problems. In this sense, Konami did not put a copy protection software in the game by choosing the one in favor of the players from the two-edged dirty stick.
In this sense, Silent Hill 2 Remake was pirated before its official release date of October 8, 2024. However, fans of the game seem to be showing their full support for the game. The game, which received thousands of positive reviews on Steam in a very short time, also attracted great attention with its review notes.
