With an announcement made in recent months, Meizu announced that it would terminate its smartphone operations. Accordingly, the company’s focus will be artificial intelligence solutions. However, the Chinese manufacturer is preparing to expand its flagship series with the Meizu 21X model.
Meizu 21X revealed
Meizu’s new smartphone recently received 3C certification from China, signaling that it will be the last model of the Meizu 21 series. According to information from Chinese sources, the phone going through the certification process will be called Meizu 21X.
Certification documents revealed that the phone was manufactured by Fuzhikang Precision Electronics for Meizu and carries the model number M468Q. It will also support 66W fast wired charging. It is thought that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and powered by a 5500mAh battery.
This configuration shows that it will compete with Meizu 21 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Meizu 21, released earlier this year; It comes with a 6.55-inch OLED screen with FHD + resolution. Supported by a 120 Hz refresh rate, this screen offers 1800 nits peak brightness and 1920 Hz PWM dimming.
However, the smartphone has 8 GB / 16 GB RAM variants, while on the storage side, 256 GB / 512 GB options are available.
Meizu did not announce the technical specifications, pricing or launch date of the new model. However, it signals that 3C certification may be announced soon.
