Sony shares information about its new games with State of Play broadcasts at certain times of each year. Official details have been shared for this year’s first State of Play event. Trailers from 15 PlayStation 5 games will be released as part of the broadcast. Here is the date of State of Play 2024.
What will be introduced with State of Play 2024?
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced plans for the first State of Play event of the new year. The event, which will be held on 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm GMT on January 31. The 40+ minute broadcast will showcase new PlayStation 5 and PS VR2 games.
Sony said that it will make extensive announcements about the action RPG games Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin. Both games are designed exclusively for the PS5 console. Beyond these games, 15 titles are expected to be introduced for both VR and PS5.
Earlier rumors showed that some highly anticipated games may also be revealed. Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding 2 may be officially announced. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth could be presented as a new game. Also, beloved games like Sonic Generations and Until Dawn could debut for PS5 and PC.
Earlier reports revealed that 4A Games will also announce a new game in the Metro series. However, unlike previous titles, this one will be exclusive to PS VR2. This means that there will be some changes in the post-apocalyptic scenario.
