Play your PS5 games remotely with PlayStation Portal
Sony’s new portable console model PlayStation Portal was introduced. PlayStation Portal, which will be available at the end of the year, allows you to play PlayStation games wherever you want. Working in conjunction with a PlayStation 5, Portal allows you to play your PS5 games remotely.
After connecting your Portal to a PlayStation 5 via Wi-Fi, the games installed on your console are streamed to the Portal’s screen. It’s worth noting that cloud streaming is not supported here. Portal, which only supports Wi-Fi and PlayStation Link, allows you to play games with pleasure after the PS5 connection is completed.
The PlayStation Portal, which carries an 8-inch LCD screen, offers a 60Hz refresh rate on this screen. It has the same control scheme as DualSense, with a USB C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Portal, which also has a built-in speaker, works with a certain internet speed. This is set by Sony as a minimum of 5 Mbps. However, 15 Mbps is recommended for a smooth experience.
Thanks to all these features, Portal, which allows you to play your games as comfortably as if you were playing on your phone, will be released at the end of the year. The price will be 200 dollars according to Sony’s statement. So Sony PlayStation Portal will enter our country for 5400 TL. Of course, it is certain that the price will exceed 6000 TL within taxes.
This breakthrough of Sony is really pleasing to the players. Especially considering that a generation plays games on the phone, PlayStation Portal is sure to attract the attention of these users. However, it might be better if you don’t need PlayStation 5 to use Portal.
What do you think about Sony PlayStation Portal? Do you think the price is reasonable? Let’s discuss in the comments.
