The popular farm management game Stardew Valley could soon reach even greater popularity. In the game’s official Discord community, game creator Eric Barone said he would be open to a future partnership with Fortnite. Here are all the curious details on the subject…
Eric Barone may bring a Fortnite character to the Stardew Valley universe
Stardew Valley developer Eric Barone’s first idea for a Fortnite collaboration was to find a way to show Pam as a character in the Battle Royale. He also said he would be open to bringing other elements from his game to Fortnite. “Abigail and Sebastian would be good choices. Is it a Stardrop or a Jojo Cola product? A Galaxy Sword or a slingshot?” he said, dropping the first hints about the collaboration.
The Stardew Valley and Fortnite universes coming together seems like a strange idea. So far, it’s only on Barone’s mind, and without any progress, it’s probably not going to happen anytime soon.
Barone is also continuing to improve the game on both PC and consoles. At the moment, players are still waiting for patch 1.6 to arrive on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms with no release date set yet.
