Starfield, which was released in late 2023 and was nominated as the best game, started to appeal to more users as the summer months approached. Developed by Bethesda, the space RPG-themed game attracted attention with its DLC expansion pack.
Starfield reaches 14 million players; DLC on the way
Bethesda Game Studios Director Todd Howard made important statements in a recent interview. He stated that Starfield, which debuted in recent months, has reached new heights in terms of gameplay. Howard announced that the game has reached more than 14 million users.
Starfield, which debuted last December, reached 13 million players on this date. Expanding to more users as the summer approaches, the space RPG has finally broken a new record, reaching 14 million players.
Howard also commented on the average play time. Accordingly, he said that players have over 40 hours of gameplay.
The Bethesda Game Studios Executive said that Starfield’s first story expansion pack will be released later this year. The DLC will be called Shattered Space and will be similar to Fallout 4’s Far Harbor.
According to Howard, Shattered Space will take place on a single planet and will allow players to explore an alien world. It will also bring additional characters to the story and change the flow of the game.
