Starlink internet came to Mongolia
The agreement signed between the Mongolian government and SpaceX in recent weeks is finally coming into effect. SpaceX, which announced that it will launch a private satellite to the country, also made the Starlink network accessible in Mongolia.
The satellite, prepared by Thales Alenia Space, aims to improve disaster management, emergency response, broadband internet access and support scientific research and education in Mongolia. The first post on the subject came from Elon Musk.
On the other hand, Minister of Digital Development and Communications Uchral Nyam-Osor, who made statements during the agreement, said that Mongolia has stepped into space travel thanks to the local satellite. The minister stated that the country is determined to develop its domestic space industry.
