Stellantis, the parent company of popular car brands including Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Dodge, DS and Fiat, has announced a new era for its electric vehicles. Stellantis announced that it will adopt the Tesla North American Charging Standard (NACS) across its brands.

According to the statement from Stellantis; From 2025, certain models of brands will have NACS charging ports. In this way, electric vehicles will benefit from Tesla’s Supercharger network. The company also said that existing electric vehicle owners will give converters for Supercharger.

With Stellantis’ decision, Tesla has seen its proprietary charging standard adopted by all major automakers. Previously, brands such as Ford, GM, Volkswagen and Mercedes had said they would embed NACS in their vehicles.
