Strategy Star Wars game canceled? Explained

The game industry has been going through a major crisis in recent months. Especially the failure of big budget productions to reach the expected sales figures has created movement in companies. In this context, it was reported that EA canceled a Star Wars game and continued another one.

Last week, EA canceled an unannounced Star Wars game developed by Respawn. This left many fans of the franchise wondering about the fate of other upcoming Star Wars games.

However, Bit Reactor has made a heartwarming announcement about the strategy-based Star Wars game in development. According to Bit Reactor’s post, the strategy game has not been canceled. Aware of the volatility in the industry, the studio continues to develop the game.

Apple has been hit with a record fine by European Union (EU) antitrust regulators. The penalty was imposed due to restrictions created by Apple's App Store rules on app developers like Spotify

EA announced that they were not affected by the restructuring carried out by EA. This decision is actually quite remarkable. Because Bit Reactor and Respawn have been in partnership since last year. However, EA’s expectations for the strategy-based Star Wars game continue.

The game to be developed by Respawn would be in the FPS-action genre. Although there is no official trailer from the game yet, its cancellation in the early stages suggests a change in the studio. Respawn’s Jedi: Fallen Order and Titanfall 2.

No launch date has been given for Bit Reactor’s game yet. However, it is quite pleasing that the strategy project expected by the players is not even canceled.
