Huawei unveiled the Pura 70 series at an event in China in recent weeks. The latest announcement shared by the company revealed that a global event will be held on May 7. So what will be announced at this launch?
Huawei will introduce MateBook, MatePad and wearable devices on May 7
Huawei will hold an event in Dubai on May 7 to unveil new products for its wearable, laptop and tablet lineup. Previously leaked MateBook, MatePad and wearable devices are expected to be introduced in the global market.
In the post made by the company, wearable technologies, MateBook and MatePad series were emphasized. No images of the new products were shared, but multiple models are expected to be introduced. The Pura 70 series is unlikely to come globally.
Huawei is expected to focus mainly on laptop and tablet models at the event. The models that will attract the most attention are likely to be the Watch Fit 3 smart bracelet and the MateBook X Pro 2024 laptop.
The MateBook X Pro 2024 is expected to have a 980-gram chassis. It will also be powered by the new Intel Ultra 13 processor, which offers up to 60 percent better performance than the 9th generation Core i7. On the MatePad side, a Kirin processor upgrade seems possible.
We don’t yet know if Huawei has a phone-based surprise. However, since there is no official confirmation, we should not have high expectations for the introduction of the Pura 70 series.
