Samsung continues to expand this year with new products in addition to the S24 and Galaxy Ring. Sources claimed that the tech giant will hold a Galaxy Unpacked event in early July 2024. At this launch, the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6, which have been on the agenda with leaks for a long time, will be announced.
Samsung may introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 in July
New information from the US has shown that the company wants to hold its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10. This means that Samsung will be unveiled earlier than previous August launches.
Moving the launch dates forward by a month could be related to the 2024 Summer Olympics. The Olympics, which start in Paris at the end of July, is an event that Samsung is also sponsoring. So the company could show off its latest devices between games.
Sources also claim that special Olympic Edition models could be introduced for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. This seems logical, considering Samsung has previously offered special Galaxy devices to teams at the Olympics.
There is also speculation that more affordable foldable models could be launched. Previous reports have suggested that a low-priced Galaxy Z Fold 6 Lite or the more powerful Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra could be released.
In addition to foldable devices, health products will also take center stage during Unpacked. Samsung announced the Galaxy Ring this week at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. But it could give more details in July.
