Surprising Performance: iPhone 16 Pro Appears in Geekbench Test!

Ana sayfa / News

As it does every year, Apple held a special event this September to unveil its latest devices, including the iPhone 16 series, AirPods 4, and Apple Watch Series 10. The event was well-received, with the iPhone 16 series standing out. However, the iPhone 16 Pro might not deliver the expected performance. According to recent Geekbench tests, the iPhone 16 Pro shows performance similar to the iPhone 15. Here are the details…

The iPhone 16 series, which grabbed attention with its new features, particularly its AI capabilities and the A18 chip, is set to start shipping on September 20. But ahead of its release, the iPhone 16 Pro appeared in Geekbench tests. If the reports are accurate, the iPhone 16 Pro may fall short of expected performance.

According to a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Geekbench results for a device claimed to be the iPhone 16 Pro were leaked. The phone, labeled as “iPhone 17,3,” is said to be the iPhone 16 Pro based on its specifications.

Which country sells the cheapest iPhone 16?

Apple recently introduced the new iPhone 16 series. So, in which country is the cheapest iPhone 16 128 GB sold?

In the Geekbench 6 tests, the iPhone 16 Pro, powered by the A18 Pro chip, scored 3,114 in the single-core test and 6,666 in the multi-core test. For comparison, last year’s standard model, the iPhone 15 with its A16 Bionic chip, scored 2,595 and 6,651 respectively.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro, with its A17 Pro chip, achieved 2,900 in single-core and 7,440 in multi-core tests. Based on these numbers, the iPhone 16 Pro with its A18 Pro chip might not deliver the expected performance gains. However, it’s important to note that these results are unofficial, and more accurate tests will emerge once the devices start shipping on September 20.
