Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, has put an end to speculation regarding the release date of Grand Theft Auto 6. In the company’s annual report, it was officially announced that the game is set to launch in the fall of 2025.

Concerns about a possible delay arose due to Rockstar’s prolonged silence. So far, only a teaser trailer has been released, and little information about GTA 6 has been shared. However, Take-Two’s statement indicates that the game will release as planned.

According to the financial report prepared by Take-Two, it was mentioned that Rockstar continues to invest in the series and plans to “release GTA 6 in the fall of 2025.” This means that one of the most anticipated games of all time will hit the shelves in the last quarter of 2025.

GTA 5 Linux support ends: Steam offers refund option

The BattlEye security system added to GTA 5 has affected Linux and Steam Deck users. The game will no longer be playable on these systems.

Hints regarding the platforms on which the game will be available have also emerged. An update for GTA Online revealed what is believed to be the code name for GTA 6, “Project America,” suggesting that the game might launch simultaneously for PC and consoles.

Of course, Rockstar’s console-first approach may continue. There are even rumors that due to an agreement between Rockstar and Sony, it could be highlighted for the PS5 Pro. In this context, it is thought to be available for PS5 and Xbox Series.

While Rockstar has yet to share new trailers or information about the game, Take-Two’s announcement makes it clear that GTA 6 is set to arrive in the fall of 2025.
