Organized by the International Awards Association (IAA) and considered one of the most prestigious design competitions, the MUSE Design Awards honored TECNO’s innovative approach, combining engineering and aesthetics. Thousands of applications were submitted from over 50 countries. Projects competing in various categories, including product design, architecture, and communication design, were evaluated by a blind jury based on criteria such as innovation, functionality, and social impact.
The TECNO SPARK Slim 5G won this prestigious award by successfully combining the three elements of “elegant, slim design, powerful performance, and long battery life,” a trio long considered a formidable obstacle in the industry.

The TECNO SPARK Slim 5G’s remarkable success lies in its ultra-thin 3D-curved body, measuring just 5.95mm thick. Despite this record-breaking thinness, the device boasts a high-capacity 5,160mAh battery that exceeds user expectations, along with 45W fast charging technology. This engineering feat is made possible by TECNO’s exclusive Honeycomb Stacking technology, which increases internal layout efficiency by 12%.
The TECNO SPARK Slim 5G goes beyond aesthetics and adds an emotional dimension to the user experience. The device’s interactive Mood Light feature is much more than just a notification light. It creates a more personal and enjoyable interaction between the user and technology by reacting to various scenarios, such as calls, charging, music rhythm, or selfie countdowns.
Despite its thinness, the TECNO SPARK Slim maintains its durability, reinforced with a 0.36mm aerospace-grade fiberglass back cover that is 0.19mm thinner yet 300% more durable than standard materials. The device also holds an SGS certification for dust and water resistance. Thanks to its large 24.532mm² thermal dissipation area, performance stability is maintained during extended use, while heat buildup in the hand is kept to a minimum.
