Telegram will offer a view once option for voice messages and photos!
Telegram is enabling the “view once” option as part of its January feature. In fact, it would be more accurate to say that it will literally elevate. Because Telegram introduced the first step of this feature in September 2023. At first, Telegram considered the ‘view once’ option only for photos and videos.
It now expands the view once option with brand new features. So what features are included with this update? Telegram is planning a number of upgrades, including video and audio messages, the ability to pause recording when sending a video or audio message, and new reading time controls.
So how will users benefit from this feature? Users simply press the microphone icon to start recording. The recipient then needs to tap and swipe up on the “view once” icon to allow them to hear the voice message or look at the video message just once.
In addition, Telegram also introduces the feature of pausing and resuming the recording of voice and video messages through the same menu. Telegram also adds a way for one-on-one chats to see if the other party has read your message. Of course, if you want the read receipts to remain private, you can turn off this feature from the settings.
Telegram did not neglect paid users within the framework of its new feature package. Telegram also offers some new features for its premium users.
