Allegedly, an unexpected explosion occurred shortly after the headset owner’s girlfriend started using the Galaxy Buds FE. As a result of this explosion, it is stated that the young woman permanently lost her hearing.
After the incident, the user contacted Samsung and stated that he was not satisfied with the company’s behaviour. Samsung officials, who initially apologised and wanted to examine the headphones, later claimed that the explosion did not occur and that the headphones were only deformed. The user was offered a new Galaxy Buds FE and was told, ‘Either accept it or use your legal rights.’
