Tesla’s electric EV, Cybertruck, has been in development for years. First unveiled in 2019, the model was recently caught on camera testing in many parts of the world. Some social media users who saw the new Cybertruck revealed its dark camouflage.
Tesla Cybertruck test in black camouflage became viral
Tesla has started testing the Cybertruck in a new black camouflage. In the videos recorded in the USA, it was noted that the vehicle has a much darker exterior coating instead of the usual white coating. Its speed in the highway tests also aroused curiosity.
The Cybertruck is expected to go into mass production later this year. The new test drives show that the prototypes have entered the final validation phase. It is also noteworthy that the new black camouflage is wrapped around the entire vehicle. In previous tests, only the lower part of the vehicle was covered in white.
Elon Musk first announced the start of Cybertruck testing last year. “We are currently testing Cybertruck vehicles around the world for final certification and validation,” he said in the company’s earnings report.
He also said that the Cybertrucks being tested on the road are being manufactured at the factory in Texas. Accordingly, it was noted that people who want to test Cybertruck should go to this factory.
In 2019, the announced prices for Cybertruck are just below. However, we believe that Tesla’s electric pickup model will be offered at much higher prices.
- Single-motor Cybertruck: $39,900
- Cybertruck with fence motor: $49,900
- Three-engine Cybertruck: $69,900
Tesla has not announced an exact schedule for the first Cybertruck deliveries. However, Musk’s recent statements revealed that the company will realize the first productions by the end of 2023. “We can’t wait to start deliveries later this year,” he tweeted.
