Tesla Türkiye has surpassed a significant milestone

Ana sayfa / News

Tesla has achieved record success in the Turkish market. According to an announcement on the company’s social media account, the number of electric vehicle deliveries on Turkish roads has surpassed 50,000 units.

Tesla achieved this impressive milestone in less than three years. The momentum of its sales growth is remarkable; more than half of total sales occurred in the first eight months of 2025.

According to the data, a total of 119,640 electric cars were sold across Turkey in 2025. Within this large market, Tesla holds a nearly 22% share with 25,756 units sold.

The brand has continued its aggressive growth, achieving more sales in Turkey last August than in all of Europe. This demonstrates the Turkish market’s strong interest in electric vehicles and the growing demand for Tesla.

However, despite this surge in sales, the company’s service and charging station network in Turkey is not growing at the same pace. Tesla currently has only three service points and 16 charging stations in Turkey. This number falls far short of the rapidly growing demand of 50,000 vehicles. This situation highlights the need for the company to accelerate its infrastructure investments in Turkey in the coming period.

The company can only sell the Model Y, manufactured in Berlin, in the Turkish market. Other Tesla models are manufactured in China or the US, which results in these vehicles being subject to 20 service notifications and additional taxes. This restriction narrows Tesla’s model range in Turkey and limits its sales potential to the Model Y.
