Released in 2002, The Thing is set to return after many years. Nightdive Studios shared new details from the remastered version of the game that debuted 22 years ago. The visuals released for The Thing: Remastered revealed how the game will look like.

A horror-survival game inspired by the movie The Thing is set to bring back the iconic franchise. The movie, first made by John Carpenter in 1982, was a big hit in the science fiction world. Nightdive has brought The Thing back to the agenda.

Using the KEX game engine, the remastered version will actually stick to the game that debuted in 2002. However, the developer said it has upgraded the visual quality of the game to support up to 4K resolution at 120 FPS.
