Samsung continues to expand its product lineup, and as part of these efforts, the South Korean company has been developing the Galaxy S25 FE for some time. Recent developments have revealed new details about the smartphone. Here are the details!
Galaxy S25 FE selfie camera upgraded to 12 MP
The Galaxy S25 FE will finally feature a 12 MP front camera. As is known, the last two generations of the FE series used 10 MP sensors. However, unless there’s a last-minute change, this is set to change.
According to a report from GalaxyClub, the Galaxy S25 FE will offer a selfie camera experience comparable to the main Galaxy S25 series. Although the new 12 MP sensor is technically smaller (1/3.2″), it promises sharper selfies and better low-light performance.
The S25 FE will continue to use the 50 MP main sensor found in its predecessors. This will be accompanied by a 12 MP ultra-wide lens and a 10 MP telephoto lens. The phone is expected to be powered by either the Exynos 2400e or the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. It will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 4,900 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
The smartphone is expected to be unveiled in September or October. Around the same time, Samsung is also rumored to introduce the Galaxy Z Flip FE, which will be its first budget-friendly foldable phone.
Software development for the Galaxy S25 FE has already begun, and the device was recently spotted with the model number SM-S731U for the U.S. market. Moreover, it is highly likely to launch with Android 16-based One UI 8.
