The affordable Galaxy S25’s screen won’t break easily!

Samsung continues to prioritize its FE models, released as an alternative to the flagship Galaxy S series. The South Korean brand, which unveiled the Galaxy S24 FE last year, has already started working on the S25 FE, with recent developments revealing an exciting detail about the upcoming smartphone.

According to ZDNet, Samsung is preparing for a significant change in the upcoming Galaxy S25 FE model. The source indicates that the smartphone will utilize a flexible OLED panel, distinguishing it from more affordable models like the Galaxy A series.

While rigid OLED panels are inflexible, flexible OLED panels, as their name suggests, can bend. This technology allows phones to be thinner and offers advantages in terms of durability. These screens are typically only used in high-end phones due to their higher cost.

Samsung’s decision won’t be limited to the Galaxy S25 FE. Reliable sources suggest that the company will bring flexible OLED screens not only to its flagships but also to more affordable smartphones. This means that, barring any unforeseen issues, future mid-range models like those in the Galaxy A series could also feature this technology.

The model’s design isn’t expected to differ significantly from its predecessor, the S24 FE. In short, it will feature a metal body, flat bezels, and a punch-hole display on the front. The rear will house a vertical triple-camera setup.
